Online Registration for the 40th Renal Society of Australasia 2012 Annual Conference has now closed.

We have relocated onsite to prepare for the Conference.

Please note that we are no longer answering emails regarding accommodation bookings. For new bookings, changes to existing bookings or general enquiries please click here to be directed to the Accommodation Contact Form.

For all other queries, including new registrations, please ask the staff at the registration desk when you arrive at the Conference. The Registration Desk will be located opposite Lake 1 on Wednesday & the Convention Centre foyer from Thursday - Saturday and will be operating at the following times:

To register for the Conference, please use the online registration form below. Website registration is strongly encouraged. Both credit card and cheque may be used for payment for online registrations. Please read the below terms and conditions before registering.

Important Registration Information

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT ONLINE:
Online registration is preferred. Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card.

Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to arinex Conference Sydney.

CHEQUE/MONEY ORDER PAYMENTS:
All payments by cheque incur a $10 processing fee.

If you are unable to pay by credit card, please select payment by cheque option.

Cheque payments will only be accepted up until 20 April 2012. After this date, all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details or by calling +61 2 9265 0700.

Cheques are to be made payable to RSA 2012/arinex. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.

Acknowledgements
Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form.

You will not receive any further publications before the conference. Your letter of acknowledgment will include any further advice necessary prior to your arrival at the conference.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers.

Registration fees:

  • Cancellations before 5 March 2012 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations before 22 April 2012 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
  • Cancellations after 23 April 2012 will receive no refund.

Workshops:

  • Cancellations between 5 March 2012 and 22 April 2012 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
  • Cancellations after 23 April 2012 will receive no refund.

Accommodation:

  • Full pre-payment or one night's deposit must be paid at time of booking to guarantee reservation.
  • One night's deposit is non-refundable at 7 May 2012.

Social functions:

  • Payments are non-refundable at 23 April 2012.

Entrance to Conference
Each member of the conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through cancellation of the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

Privacy
Australia operates under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. The Conference Managers comply with such legislation which is designed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information. Information collected in respect of proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be only used for the purposes of planning and conduct of the Conference, and may also be provided to organisers of future events or used to provide you with information of other relevant events unless you advise that your information is not to be used for this purpose. It is also usual to produce a 'Delegate List' of attendees at the Conference and to include the individual's details in such a list. Consent for publication of the individual's information may be withheld when completing the registration form for the Conference. Individuals are also entitled to access the information held by written application to the Conference Managers.
